Cardinal Patrick D’Rozario, C.S.C., Archbishop-emeritus of Dhaka, recently visited the Holy Cross Community in Welland, Ontario, where he was happy to reacquaint himself with his Holy Cross confreres, including Archbishop James MacDonald, former archbishop of St. John’s, Newfoundland.
Making a pastoral visit to Canada, the Cardinal celebrated Mass for the feast of St. Anthony of Padua with the Bengali community in Toronto.
Afterward, Cardinal Patrick traveled to Montreal where he presided at Mass on Sunday, 26 June, with the Bengali community of Montreal at St. Laurent Church. Several of the Holy Cross Sisters were present for the Mass. The historical Holy Cross parish of St. Laurent is also the home of the formation house of the Canadian Province of Priests and Brothers.
