Haiti Ordination 1

Members of the Province Notre-Dame du Perpétuel Secours in Haiti joyfully gathered on Sunday, March 20, at St. Peter and Paul Parish in Limbé for the Ordination to the Priesthood of Deacon Clavens Saint-Bert Nelson, C.S.C. The ordaining bishop was the Most Rev. Yves-Marie Pean, C.S.C., Bishop of the Diocese of Gonaïves.

It was particularly poignant for Fr. Nelson to be ordained in his home parish, as he is also a graduate of College Sainte-Croix in Limbé. Of course, his family and fellow parishioners were there proudly to support him on his Ordination day and join in the festivities.

After the Mass, the community and those in attendance offered their warm congratulations to Fr. Nelson at a reception in his honor.

Father Nelson will continue his ministry at College Notre Dame du Perpetuel Secours in Cap-Haïtien.
