The Ordinations took place across the country, in various dioceses, representing the diversity of the province’s membership. The Ordinations began on 21 November 2025 with Fr. Nayan Joseph Gomes, C.S.C., who was ordained at Christ the Redeemer Church in the Diocese of Rajshahi. The local bishop, Most Rev. Gervas Rozario, was the ordaining bishop. Fr. Nayan was ordained with four other priests, including his own brother.

The next Ordination came over a month later, on 27 December 2025, in the Archdiocese of Dhaka, where Fr. Promod Thomas Rozario, C.S.C., was ordained by the Most Rev. Bejoy N. D’Cruze, OMI, Archbishop of Dhaka, at St. Joseph’s Church in Savar. The bishop wove the charism of Holy Cross into his homily, speaking of the importance of a priestly ministry marked by zeal for education, pastoral ministry, and service to the poor.

Three days later, on 30 December 2025, Fr. Soikat Benedict Kulentuno, C.S.C., was ordained a priest at Christ the Redeemer in the Diocese of Rajshahi. As with the Ordination of Fr. Promod, members of the U.S. Province of Priest and Brothers, led by Fr. James Gallagher, C.S.C., Rector of Moreau Seminary and Scholasticate, were present for the celebration. Fr. Soikat and Fr. Promod did their theological studies and final years of initial formation at Moreau Seminary and Scholasticate in Notre Dame, Indiana.

Next to be ordained was Fr. Sushil Ignatius Soren, C.S.C., on 5 January 2026. The Ordination was celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Khalippur, in the Diocese of Dinajpur. The local bishop, Most Rev. Sebastian Tudu, presided at the Mass. Then on 9 January 2026, Fr. Jeorme Mosenting Suting, C.S.C., was ordained a priest at St. Joseph the Worker Church, Sreemongal. The Most Rev. Shorot Francis Gomes, Bishop of the Diocese of Sylhet, presided at the Ordination.

The sixth and final Ordination was that of Fr. Tharson Francis Mrong, C.S.C., which was one week later on 16 January 2026. St. André Bessette Catholic Church within the Diocese of Mymensingh was the site of the Ordination, with the local archbishop, Most Rev. Ponen Paul Kubi, C.S.C., preaching and presiding.

All of the Ordinations were well attended by not only the family members of the ordinandi and their confreres in Holy Cross, but also many other lay people, religious, and priests from the local diocese. They were truly beautiful celebrations of the Church.
