
The Holy Cross Educational Foundation hosted a groundbreaking educators’ conference from July 19-21 at the Holy Cross Provincial House in Agartala, Tripura. This collaborative event brought together 47 educators from various Holy Cross Provinces across India, focusing on the theme Transformative Education for the Future: A Holy Cross Pathway.
Key topics included “Transformational Leadership”, “Curriculum Leadership under the National Curriculum Framework (NCF)”, “Convergent Media vs. Life Skills for Millennials”, and “Financial Management”.
The sessions were designed to address current educational challenges and equip the educators with the skills needed for future advancements. An emphasis was placed on visionary leadership, curriculum adaptation, financial sustainability, and balancing technological advancements with essential life skills.

The conference was a resounding success. The participants appreciated the insightful discussions and practical strategies offered, as well as the opportunity to network and share with one another.
The Holy Cross Educational Foundation, which is led by Fr. George Jacob, C.S.C., Secretary, is a ministry of the Congregation’s Province of North East India. Operating 20 schools and a postgraduate college in Northeast India, the foundation continues to lead in promoting innovative and transformative educational practices, reaffirming its commitment to shaping the future of education in India.
