April 10, 2020, was a joyous day for the Congregation of Holy Cross's United States Province of Priests and Brothers. On that day, Fr. Robert Lisowski, C.S.C., Fr. David Smith, C.S.C., Fr. Felipe Campos Reséndez, C.S.C., and Fr. Geoffrey Mooney, C.S.C., were ordained at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart at the University of Notre Dame.
The Most Rev. Arturo (Bud) Colgan, C.S.C., Auxiliary Bishop and Vicar General of the Diocese of Chosica, Peru, was the ordaining Bishop. Fr. Robert Epping, C.S.C., Superior General, also attended the ceremony.
Although family and friends of those to be ordained were present, the seating capacity in the Basilica was limited as the Province strictly adhered to the University of Notre Dame's coronavirus protocols.
After the Mass, community, family, and other invited guests gathered at Moreau Seminary for a banquet in honor of the ordinandi.
