Virtual Exhibit on Blessed Moreau’s Legacy Launched in Canada

The archives and museums of the Family of Holy Cross in Montreal, Canada, have launched a virtual exhibit on “The Legacy of Blessed Basile Moreau in Canada” that honors his spirituality, his work, and his legacy. It is part of their celebrations of the 150th Anniversary of Blessed Basile Moreau’s entry into eternal life.

The virtual exhibit is the follow-up to the highly successful exhibit “Heritage of Basile Moreau in Canada,” which was a collaborative effort of archives of the Province Canadienne, the Sisters of Holy Cross, and St. Joseph’s Oratory. It officially opened on the Feast Day of Blessed Basile Moreau, January 20, 2023, and was open until mid-July

Over 200 archival documents, photographs, artifacts, and works of art are included in the virtual exhibit and separated into five main themes: Moreau and the Holy Cross Family, Education, Montreal Legacy, Missions, and Spiritual Sons and Daughters.
