The community joyfully celebrated the Ordinations of Fr. Garry Almonor, C.S.C., Fr. Ugues Jadel Joseph, C.S.C., and Fr. Dieusel Regulus, C.S.C. at Sacred Heart Parish in Cap Haïtien

Fr. Eric Jasmin, C.S.C., Superior of the Province of Notre Dame du Perpetuél Secours, warmly welcomed the Most Rev. Launay Saturné, Archbishop Cap-Haïtien, back to the Province. The Archbishop also had presided at the Diaconate Ordination of these same men in September 2020.

In his homily, Archbishop Saturné invited the new priests to allow for the guidance of the Holy Spirit, to be men of prayer, and not to lose sight of people’s reality in ministry.

Despite the challenges of the political turmoil, people were able to travel to the ceremony and enjoy a festive meal after the Mass at Collège Notre-Dame with the newly ordained.
