Good Shepherd Sunday was an providential day for the Province of Notre Dame du Perpetuél Secours to have its ordinations, as it also was World Day of Prayer for Vocations. The community joyfully celebrated the Ordinations of Fr. Garry Almonor, C.S.C., Fr. Ugues Jadel Joseph, C.S.C., and Fr. Dieusel Regulus, C.S.C. at Sacred Heart Parish in Cap Haïtien
Fr. Eric Jasmin, C.S.C., Superior of the Province of Notre Dame du Perpetuél Secours, warmly welcomed the Most Rev. Launay Saturné, Archbishop Cap-Haïtien, back to the Province. The Archbishop also had presided at the Diaconate Ordination of these same men in September 2020.

In his homily, Archbishop Saturné invited the new priests to allow for the guidance of the Holy Spirit, to be men of prayer, and not to lose sight of people’s reality in ministry.
Despite the challenges of the political turmoil, people were able to travel to the ceremony and enjoy a festive meal after the Mass at Collège Notre-Dame with the newly ordained.
Fr. Joseph, C.S.C., will continue his ministry at College Notre-Dame du Perpétuel Secours in Cap-Haïtien where he will also be a member of the vocation promotion team for the region. Fr. Almonor, C.S.C., will serve as the Assistant to the headmaster of Père Pérard School in Plaisance, while Fr. Regulus, C.S.C., will assist the Provincial Steward while pursuing his studies in accounting.
