January 17 the Congregation inaugurated the Institut Supérieur Marcel Bédard in Haiti. The Institute aspires to be a national model for the certification of high school teachers.
Rev. Daniel Kurbath, C.S.C., became the sixth priest ordained in India for the Congregation in a little over a month. The first was Rev. Arun D., C.S.C., on November 26, 2012.
On December 12, Bishop Lumen Monteiro blessed the foundation stone for Holy Cross College in Agartala, India. The building will provide the College its first permanent home.
On Saturday, Carlos Jacobo, C.S.C., became the fourth Holy Cross priest ordained in Mexico. He is the first ordained from the Congregation’s parish in Guadalupe, Nuevo Leon.
